Product Details:

Designer: Gabriella Riccobono

Project type: Apartment Interior Design

Description of the work:

This interior design project is built on one essential principle: architectural precision softened by material warmth. The apartment was designed for a client who desired clarity, order, and intimacy in equal measure. The result is a home that speaks a silent language of structure, comfort, and purity – an exercise in geometry and atmosphere.

The keyword of the project was structure. The black metal framing – repeated in lighting elements and furnishings – serves as a unifying gesture throughout the apartment, while soft wall panels and neutral palettes add visual depth and tactile richness. Every element is custom – aligned to reflect a coherent visual grammar.

The kitchen is the commanding heart of the apartment. A central island in black Marquina marble anchors the space, paired with matte black cabinetry and integrated lighting that emphasizes horizontal lines. Minimalist bar stools in black powder-coated metal enhance the graphic impact. The ceramic floor provides a clean, durable base that balances the darker elements.

In the living room, softness and rigor coexist. A pale linen sofa is flanked by two ceramic table lamps and black steel side tables, all framed under a suspended ceiling light structure in metal. The feature wall is covered in modular upholstered panels, offering both acoustic and visual comfort.

The bedroom mirrors this architectural rhythm. A bold canopy bed in blackened steel frames a full-height padded wall in suede-effect panels. The repetition of geometry here reinforces a calm, graphic elegance. The furniture is minimal, allowing the proportions and surfaces to speak.

The bathroom completes the narrative with refined simplicity. Dual sinks rest on a solid vanity in black marble, with wall and floor tiles in large-format natural stone-effect ceramic. An oversized mirror is embedded in a grid of black framing, echoing the visual motif found throughout the apartment.
