Description of the work:
Hephaestus has been conceived as a tribute to the ancient art of Venetian blown glass. The choice of this material, combined with the particular processing technique, wants to be a synthesis of colour, plasticity, reflection and opacity. The glass, polished on the outside and satin-finished on the inside, is decorated with holes made by a manual gesture that make each of them a unique element. Its transparency paired with the interaction with light take us on a journey whose destination could be the cosmic spatiality of a blue planet like Neptune.
